Who did they choose to support their super-cool technology? Invision.
The idea of the Museum at Prairiefire became a reality when the $160 million development opened its doors at 135th Street and Lamar to the public on May 12. The Museum is collaborating with the famous American Museum of Natural History (AMNH) in New York on this impressive one-of-a-kind venture.
By working with the AMNH, the Museum at Prairiefire brings exhibitions and unprecedented, interactive educational resources to our area. These resources, developed and tested by the AMNH’s staff of over 100 educators, are designed to spark interest in the science, technology, engineering and math fields.
These state of the art interactive exhibits run on an infrastructure designed and built by Invision. Our technicians installed the network, including servers and workstations, mobile devices for the ticketing booths, and a complete wireless setup. Since a vast majority of exhibits have technology at their core, Invision will be handling the Museum’s ongoing IT administration and maintenance.
The Museum at Prairiefire is unlike any other in the Midwest, showcasing human cultures, the natural world and the universe. They come alive for visitors through exciting community engagement and education, backed by cutting edge technology supported proudly by Invision’s IT expertise.
