Windows Systems Administrator
(On-site • Kansas City metro)
Own problems end-to-end. Be the person who gets teams unstuck, then makes sure it won’t happen again.
You’ll Do
- User & device support (Windows, some macOS/mobile) with first-contact fixes
- Microsoft 365 admin (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint/OneDrive, identities/permissions)
- Network basics (switches, Wi-Fi, VPN/firewall) and secure remote access
- Practical security: MFA rollout, EDR coordination, backup/restore checks
- Onboarding/offboarding with clean handoffs and tidy documentation
- Small projects: migrations, standardizing builds, light modernization
You’ll Bring
- ~5+ years in business environments (or equivalent “I’ve seen it, I fixed it” experience)
- Calm triage, clear writing, confident customer communication
- Judgment: know when to quick-fix and when to step back and design it right
- Curiosity without ego; teamwork without hand-offs-to-nowhere
- Local to KC (this is an in-person role serving KC companies)
Nice-to-Haves
- SharePoint/Teams governance, Conditional Access, scripting for repeatable setup
- SonicWall/VPN familiarity, restore-drill muscle memory
Compensation
